  • How do I book my dive packages?

The dive operator, Dive Friends has a location within the resort only a moments walk from The Laughing Seahorse. They are a full service dive operation with everything from a full range of PADI courses, rental gear, rental dive tanks, as well as a small retail store. We work closely with Dive Friends and can offer a 10% discount on most of their offerings. Feel free to email us with your needs and we will put together a package for you and organize your course. Not sure what you want to do or nervous about trying diving for the first time? Feel free to email Alan. If you plan on doing a PADI Open Water Dive certification, please know that it can take four days to complete. To maximize your vacation time we recommend completing the classroom portion of the course online before your arrival. Email Alan and I will talk you through it: info@laughingseahorse.com

  • What is the shore entry like for diving/snorkling from The Laughing Seahorse?

We have an easy shore entry from our garden straight into a world class dive site. The beach has some loose coral (as do all beaches on Bonaire) and then a sand entrance into the water. The reef is directly out front! Diving boots with thick soles and ankle support are a great investment for shore diving or some water shoes if snorkeling.
